Introduction to WordPress

I installed a WordPress blog while running an AWS server. As it was an installation blog, it was complicated because there were various settings, including databases.

WordPress Installation Review

At first, I was half excited and half worried. Along with the new feeling, there are many concerns such as data transfer and server maintenance costs. I feel like I’m back to my first intention. Although the recognition is low, I opened a blog with the hope that it would become a blog that communicates with others by writing hard.

Future Plans

It’s my first time installing a blog, so I’ll have to set the basic settings first. Since I installed it on Ubuntu Server, I think I need to learn Linux commands as well as knowledge about servers, including setting up a web server. Also, I think we should pay particular attention to security.

SSL settings were also considered while running a web server. There is a certificate provided by AWS, but it was difficult to install directly on the EC2 instance. For this reason, SSL certificates are purchased from outside. I chose a wild card certificate even if it was burdensome because there were many subdomains.

I’m also worried about the high cost of servers. The AWS 12-month free tier period is expected to end, and significant costs will be charged. I should consider purchasing savings plans while looking at the exchange rate.

Installation blogs seem to be highly utilized, but it is true that their recognition is low. As it is highly utilized, I look forward to the time when we will operate hard and achieve good results.
